The Chocolate Dyed Cowhide Rug takes a full natural hide and saturates it in a deep, even brown — the dyeing process changes the color but leaves the leather's texture and grain untouched, so it still feels and moves like a hide rather than a flat, uniform surface.

Underneath the color, it's 100% natural cowhide with a natural suede backing that grips flooring on its own — no pad required. Dust, pollen, and allergens don't settle into the surface the way they would into a woven rug, and cleanup is a quick wipe with a damp cloth.

Handcrafted by artisans in Southern Brazil to Leather Working Group Gold Standard and Oeko-Tex® Certified Leather Standard practices, it measures X-Large at 7' x 6' and pairs with the Tricolor Cowhide Rug or Chevron Cowhide Rug if you're mixing solid color with pattern.
