Equine kinesiology tape
EQUINE | DEFENDER™ K Tape
Buy this if: you want flexible equine kinesiology tape for horse bodywork, movement awareness, light support, training weeks, hauling, show prep, and recovery-day routines.
This is the single-roll path. Choose it when you want a specific color, need one roll for the kit, or want to test taping before moving into a bundle.
Best for testing color, technique, or one-horse taping routines.
Best for
- Equine kinesiology taping and horse bodywork routines.
- Movement cueing, light support, training, hauling, show prep, and recovery days.
- Barns that want color choice before buying bundles.
- Customers comparing tape, liniment, wraps, and bodywork tools.
Important tape rule
Apply tape only to clean, fully dry hair. Do not apply liniment, oils, sprays, creams, coat polish, or other topicals under kinesiology tape. Use topicals after tape removal or on off days.
How to use
- Apply only to clean, fully dry hair.
- Brush away dirt, dust, sweat, and loose hair before taping.
- Round the corners of each strip before application.
- Use zero-stretch anchors and light tension through the working section.
- Rub the tape after application to help activate the adhesive.
- Remove slowly with hair growth using a water-first method.
K Tape vs. liniment vs. wraps
- K Tape: flexible support, body cueing, and movement awareness.
- Draw It Out® liniment: topical muscle and joint care after tape removal or on off days.
- Wraps or boots: traditional support or coverage when used correctly.
Helpful next steps
