Leather German Martingale Fork

Made to pair with our Leather D-Ring Reins, the German Martingale Fork is a useful training tool for helping a horse stay soft, collected, and better connected from front to back.

When adjusted correctly, the martingale encourages the horse to round through the back, elevate through the withers and poll, and give to rein pressure. As the horse softens and comes into the correct position, the pressure releases.

It can be especially helpful on a horse that gets high-headed, stiff, strung out, or heavy in your hands as you begin adding more speed and pressure to your training.

Care should always be taken not to over-adjust the martingale or encourage the horse to tuck its nose behind the vertical.
