The SC-175 Super Bit takes the feel riders love from the SC-75 and adds a rope noseband plus more shank for the horse that needs extra help staying gathered, elevated, and under control at speed.

The longer shank gives you more lift, collection, and whoa, while the rope noseband adds another point of control across the nose. That combination makes it especially useful on a horse that gets strong, drops down in the front end, or needs more help staying balanced and together going into the turn.

It gives you a quicker, more definite response when you pick up your reins, but still lets you soften and get back out of the horse’s way once they respond.

Best For
Barrel horses that need more lift, collection, nose control, and stopping power than a shorter combination bit provides.

Feel
Strong, balanced, and responsive with plenty of lift. The longer shank gives you more authority, while the rope noseband helps distribute the cue beyond the mouthpiece alone.

Rider Note
A great choice for the horse that needs you to really get the front end picked up and the body gathered before the turn. If a shorter shank is not quite enough, the Super gives you more help without having to hold one together every stride.
