Zebra Reverse Cowhide Rug

Flip the usual formula and you get the Zebra Reverse Cowhide Rug: white striping laid over a dyed black base instead of the other way around, so the contrast reads darker and more dramatic at a glance. It's the same graphic rhythm as a classic striped print, just inverted. That inverted design stays the same across the line; it's the black dye's depth and the way it settles into each hide that can vary slightly, since natural leather never takes color with perfect uniformity.

Leather-wise, it's still a full 100% natural cowhide with the hair left on, finished with a natural suede backing that grips flooring without a separate pad. Spills lift off with a damp cloth, weekly low-suction vacuuming handles dust, and the surface won't trap pollen or pet dander the way a fiber rug would.

It's tanned and hand-finished in Brazil, with Leather Working Group Gold Standard certification and Oeko-Tex® testing behind the leather itself. It comes in X-Large, 7' x 6', and works well set beside our Chevron Cowhide Rug if you're layering patterns.
